Ideal for low-sloped roofs, EPDM membrane has proven to be one of the most durable and desirable flat roofing materials. At Brincks Exteriors, we install and repair EPDM roofing to ensure your building is protected from severe elements ranging anywhere from harsh UV rays to heavy hail storms.
What is EPDM Roofing?
EPDM is an extremely durable synthetic rubber roofing membrane primarily composed of ethylene and propylene, which are derived from oil and natural gas. The membrane is vulcanized before delivery and installation, ensuring it will never warp or emit hazardous chemicals when exposed to moisture and heat. Our EPDM roofing can vary in thicknesses anywhere from .045″ to .090″, is available as a non-reinforced or reinforced sheet, and comes in either black or white, so you can customize to fit your specifications.
Why EPDM Roofing?
- UV radiation resistant
- Resistant to harsh elements, including hail damage
- Withstands thermal shock
- Unyielding to cyclical fatigue
- Will not become brittle or shatter due to low temperature flexibility
- Excellent moisture absorption
